Yannick McCabe-Costa
I work across telecommunications, infrastructure, software engineering and information security, with 15+ years designing and operating large-scale voice and network platforms.
The background is real-time communications: SIP infrastructure, carrier interconnects, VoIP platforms, high-availability voice. Asterisk, Kamailio and OpenSIPS through and through, alongside Linux, WebRTC, media handling and a great deal of systems integration.
I'm equally comfortable troubleshooting low-level SIP signalling, architecting distributed infrastructure, writing production software, or sitting across the table from a customer when the complicated bits need explaining.
I work remotely, and have done for most of those fifteen years. RocketCell, a UK MVNO running on EE's network, was launched from the desk in my study.
Currently leading telephony engineering in the voice-intelligence space: PSTN, GSM/LTE, Teams and enterprise voice. Alongside that I run a small consultancy, addedPIXELS, for bespoke briefs where off-the-shelf doesn't quite fit.
