Chanelling my inner telco nerd, and given that it's been something I've been meaning to do for far too long, I made an App that is similar in vein to my getCP project, and allows for users to lookup rangeholder data on their phone in a handy iOS App. The rebrand of getCP to Telco.Tools is still in progress, but this app paves the way for me to get it finished. Go take a look and download it, I'm by no means an app developer, but Swift is a pretty nice language to work in.

With the prospect of blackouts in the Winter of 2022/2023, the government has done their thing and released a nice "easy-to-read" PDF. So I took the data out the PDF, and created an interactive website for people to check when they may be subject to blackouts. There's also a calendar subscription endpoint too, which will prove extermely useful if this tool has to be utilised, which we all hope not of course.

Further to past projects with the owner of this establishment, I installed a new wireless and wired network infrastructure for the Whiskey jar, allowing management, staff and customers to login and utilise a high-speed internet connection, whilst keeping different user groups separated.
Attached to this new infrastructure are also critical systems such as the point-of-sale and EFT terminals, running on their own segregated network.
I utilised some great equipment from Ubiquiti Networks for this project, including their EdgeMAX and UniFi line of products. I highly recommend it.
